laminated glass
Over the course of the lamination process, we place EVA (ethylene-vinyl-acetate) foil between the glass layers, creating an inseparable bond between individual layers as a result of the high temperature and great pressure. This is how we create glued safety glass (VSG) as well.
The safest possible structure consists of tempered glued safety glass (ESG VSG). With a structure of this type, in case of a break in the glass, the shattered glass layer is gripped by the foil, thus no sudden structural deformation takes place.
The decorating options for glued safety glass are diverse, as the technology allows the use of coating, acid etching, and printing, as well as the placement of special, colorful and printed foils, paper, thread, etc. between the various layers. Its precondition is exclusively the temperature resistance (above 100°C) of the applicable desired material.
