The technology of acid etching has existed since the beginning of the 19th century. Acid etching is a chemical process whereby we treat the surface of the glass. Consequently, the treated section of the glass turns opaque, thus any pattern can be made to appear through this true and tried technology. Its use is diverse, as the structural composition of the acid-etched glass is entirely optional (for example, either a single or multi-layered glass structure can be employed). Its most typical area of application is in the decoration of shower cabins and separator walls. Its advantage \u2013 versus sandblasted decorated glass \u2013 is the easier cleaning of the surface.<\/p>
